The Flagstone is the 'can be anything' bike in my range. This model is a base for anything from road racing to touring, light gravel and through to more serious adventures. The final use envelope for the frame is decided in how you set the bike up with equipment. The geometry can be optimised for use with 28mm through to 47mm tyres and can be had with an ajustable fork offset if multi use is being sort after.
I use fillet braze construction without the Bi-Lam sleeves that I use on the Gibraltar. The Flagstone utilises a tapered head tube and features Columbus tubing throught out the whole frame. It is an amazing blend of tubes and shaping that realises a beautiful refined ride that gives plenty back when asked of it.
This platform can be tweaked to run as a light or burly as you prefer using the Columbus Futura fork range.
Columbus Futura Cross Plus carbon forks are the choice for this frame for a dedicated gravel setup. Providing a fantastic ride, feed back and handling matched with uncompromising qualiy from Columbus Tubi. It has clearance for up to 47mm tyres and bolt bosses to attach fork racks to. The rear of the frame also has extra mounting points to allow for a myriad of equipment set ups.
I have left off the normal brazed on front derailleur mount, It is intended if you want to use a front derailleur, a band clamp can be installed. There is choice between for mechanical and electronic gear systems, or both if you want flexibility and all cable housing and hydraulic hose is external. Obviously Di2 and EPS wires run inside the frame.
Included bottle bosses on down tube/seat tube, rear rack mount points, cable guide on underside of the bottom bracket if required and M6 stainless seat binder bolt. Stainless steel relief head tube logo.
The paint is a single solid colour and each batch will be done in it's entirety but will differ from batch to batch. All logos are masked, ‘Devlin’ on downtube and emblem in select places.
